about

In 1983, ‘84 myself and my friend Henry Jaremko found ourselves on a “community scheme project” “Computer Aided Animated Arts Theatre” based at Brighton Polytechnic (now Brighton University) It was an ambitious project in that the computers and software were then far too primitive to realise the aim: to create fun educational software for children with special needs. There were endless meetings and cups of coffee and not much getting done most of the time, but the team were a fun bunch of people (“in-jokes” a plenty!)

lyrics

“Going on down to Moulsecombe, down to my job with the CAAAAAT; no one has yet started working, think I’ll have a cup of coffee.
Ray has given me something to do: Struckture Struckture Struckture, Struckture Struckture Struckture! (think I’ll have a cup of coffee!”)
Now it’s time for a meeting, “think I’ll have a cup of coffee”, BORING BORING BORING BORING! Cognitive Impovierished lemons.
Ranjit wants it on the Apple, with the sound and the graphics and the colour, (“Mmmmmm, yesss, welllll...”), “Think I’ll have a cup of coffee!”
Fahad put on the kettle now: think I’ll have a cup of coffee; Oh...now it’s GUNGE time! (Canteen food) Think I’ll have a Cockcroft curry!
Think I’ll have a pint of lager, think I’ll have a cup of coffee...(ect)
“Just one computer...give it to meeeeeeee!”
